Marco Castro

Marco Castro is a registered psychological associate with over five years of experience providing compassionate and evidence-based mental health care. He holds a Master of Science in Forensic Behavioral Science (2020) and a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology (2023) from Alliant International University. His background includes conducting psychological evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans, and utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to support individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges.
At Mind Body Care, Marco integrates a person-centered and holistic approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients foster resilience and emotional well-being. He has extensive experience in administering psychological assessments, including cognitive and personality measures, to inform treatment planning and enhance self-awareness in clients.
Fluent in Spanish and proficient in Mandarin and German, Marco values cultural humility and strives to create a safe and inclusive therapeutic space. He is currently learning French to expand his ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys traveling, immersing himself in different cultures, and spending time with his three cats.
