I am Somang Moon, an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor under the supervision of Summer Hillas Buck, LMFT. I have experience supporting individuals through challenging life seasons, addressing issues such as grief and loss, trauma, work-life balance, academic pressures, managing anxiety and depression, and interpersonal conflict.

How I Help
As a warmhearted and compassionate therapist, I strive to create a non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable exploring your concerns and working towards your personal goals. My approach is centered on fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. I believe therapy is a partnership where you are the expert in your own life, and together, we can work as a team to address and overcome challenges.

I embrace an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating a variety of techniques to best meet your unique needs. I utilize diverse therapeutic methods—including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Therapy—and tailor my approach to fit your individual circumstances and goals.

More About Me
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures and cuisines. I find joy in raising plants, playing board games, and spending quality time with friends and family. I also enjoy reading, learning new languages, and taking evening walks. My husband and I love trying out different restaurants and discovering new food.
