Seja (she/her or they/them) is a registered psychological associate and doctoral candidate at Palo Alto University with emphasis in Diversity and Community Mental Health and LGBTQ+ Psychology. Seja completed her undergraduate education at UC San Diego in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience and earned a master’s degree in Psychology at Touro University. Seja has provided affirming and trauma-informed therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults to support a variety of concerns from depression and anxiety to psychosis and substance use problems.

As a queer Arab-American, Seja understands how identity, intersectionality, and culture inform our sense of self and how we move through the world. They maintain a Feminist Therapy and Liberation Psychology lens throughout their work. Seja strives to tailor therapy to each person, viewing the therapeutic process as collaborative and ever-evolving.

In their free time, Seja loves spending time with their friends and family, reading novels, and fostering kittens through their local animal shelter.
