Hi, I’m Prabhpreet K. Punj, a Registered Psychological Associate who is deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with clarity, compassion, and purpose. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and am currently pursuing my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at University of the Pacific.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in cycles of overthinking, or emotionally drained by stress, relationships, or life transitions? You might be trying to balance many responsibilities while also feeling pressure from family, work, or personal expectations. Sometimes it can feel difficult to slow down and understand what you’re going through. Therapy can offer a supportive space where you can pause, gain clarity, and begin to understand your thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a deeper way.

I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, stress, and life transitions. My approach to therapy is integrative and tailored to each individual, drawing from evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness based practices. I aim to help clients better understand themselves while also developing practical tools that support emotional balance, resilience, and lasting change.

Who I Work With

I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and motivated for growth but may feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, or unsure how to manage the challenges they are facing. You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Sometimes the first step is simply having a space where you can talk openly and feel supported.

Clients often come to therapy with concerns such as:

My Approach

My style in therapy is warm, collaborative, and supportive. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. Together we explore the experiences and patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress while also developing practical strategies to help you manage challenges and build resilience. Therapy is a collaborative process where we move at a pace that feels comfortable while working toward greater self understanding and emotional wellbeing.

Cultural Understanding

I am fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, and English, and I value supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. I understand how culture, family expectations, and identity can shape emotional experiences, and I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, respected, and understood.
