Psychological Associate

As a compassionate and thoughtful psychologist, I take an authentic and direct approach to therapy. My goal is to help you understand and overcome the challenges that are causing anxiety, depression, or difficulties in your relationships. I believe that current struggles and dissatisfaction often stem from experiences and injustices from the past as well as patterns that are no longer serving you. We would collaborate to more deeply understand these unhelpful patterns so you can live a more fulfilling, connected and unencumbered life.
Special interests include depression and anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, parenting concerns, problems at work, life transitions, LGBTQ+ and multicultural identity. I have experience working with adults, children and adolescents in university counseling centers, VA hospitals, inpatient psychiatric units and residential treatment programs.
